This past Sunday marks the first time that the weather was not kind to us on race day. We are thankful to all those who didn't let the rain and cold deter them from joining us we accelerate the discovery of finding treatments and a cure for ALS.

All proceeds benefit Prize4Life, a
results-driven nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate the
discovery of treatments and a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Central
to our work is a drive to generate new ideas, foster new research, and drive
innovation that creates opportunities for breakthroughs in the pursuit of a
cure for ALS. We are determined to eradicate ALS by catalyzing new ideas,
eliminating barriers, and generating results.
Most ALS patients are given two
to three years to live after their diagnosis, or about 1,000 days. Prize4Life
hopes to change this grim prognosis with $1M prizes that encourage researchers
to focus on ALS and to develop promising new therapeutics.
